Small earthenware ceramic mug with claystone from Gaspésie handmade by Cybèle B.Pilon in Montréal, Québec, Canada. The iron naturally present in the clay gives a dark reddish brown hue to this one of a kind piece. Each flower are shaped by hand and enhanced colors and 22k gold. The mug is glazed with a white tin glaze. 

Cybèle B. Pilon's designs are the result of infinite variations on a single theme. She draws her inspiration from her French Canadian material culture (quilts, visual archives, built heritage, popular objects, etc.) and transposes the patterns found on her contemporary ceramics.

Warning and maintenance: Precious. Not suitable for the microwave. Not recommended for dishwasher. Over time, successive washings in the dishwasher will eventually damage the gold.
