I am proud to be among the finalists of the 2021 François-Houdé Award
François-Houdé Award highlights the remarkable work of creators in fine crafts who transform wood, leather, textiles, metals, glass, ceramics, paper or other materials. Each year, the city of Montréal awards this distinction jointly with the Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec (CMAQ).
My piece " Plate for tomato sandwiches", was selected among the work of others talented creators as my colleague the ceramist Pauline Guideras (Award winner), the glass artist Charlie Larouche-Potvin, Corinne Bourget et Niki Jessup from HotelMotel, David Frigon Lavoie, Chris Fusaro, Lucie Leroux, Delphine Platten and Brigitte Dahan.
Pieces from the winner and finalists will be exhibited at La Guilde Gallery from November 25, 2021 to February 20, 2022.
